Royal Malaysian Navy Rapid Deployment Team To Address Crime In Country's Waters

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 7 (Bernama) -- The Royal Malaysian Navy has set up a Rapid Deployment Team to respond swiftly to tackle crime in the country's waters.

RMN Assistant Chief of Staff (Operations and Exercises) Rear Admiral Datuk Pahlawan Mior Rosdi Mior Mohd Jaafar said the team would be located in Tanjung Pengelih, Johor, where most crimes in the country's waters took place.

Malaysian Chief of Army visit Pakistan Chief of Army Staff

Rawalpindi - October 5, 2015 - General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi Bin Raja Mohamed Noor, Chief of Malaysian Army, called on General Raheel Sharif, Chief of Army Staff, at General Headquarters today.

During the meeting, views were exchanged on issues of mutual interest including defence, training and security cooperation between both the countries and overall regional security situation. General Tan Sri Raja Mohamed Affandi acknowledged success of Operation Zarb-e-Azb and paid rich tribute to sacrifices rendered by Pakistan Army in fight against terrorism.

Earlier on arrival at GHQ, a smartly turned out contingent of Pakistan Army presented Guard of Honour to the visiting dignitary. (ISPR)

Turkey’s New Export Item: ASELSAN Stabilized Weapon Systems Ordered by Malaysia


Stabilized We​apon Systems are designed and developed by ASELSAN in order to fit different caliber guns. These systems are selected by armed forces of 11 different countries.

Two recent export contracts have been signed for the systems. Kazakhstan and Malaysia Armed Forces selected ASELSAN weap​​on systems.

Also known as, "Remote Controlled Weapon Systems (RCWS)", these systems can be used as fixed stations as well as integrat​ed on land/naval plarforms.
