CTRM Aviation Gets Contract Extension With RMAF

KUALA LUMPUR, April 3 - CTRM Aviation, a subsidiary of Composite Technology Research Malaysia Sdn Bhd (CTRM), has signed an extension of the Direct Purchase Agreement (DPA) worth RM18 million with the Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF).

The agreement covers maintenance, repair, fabrication and modification of composites materials for any RMAF's aerostructures and non-structures assets in accordance with the original equipment manufacturers' standards, CTRM said in a statement.

The signing of the contract was witnessed by Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein during the Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition 2015 in Langkawi recently.

CTRM Aviation was awarded the contract to provide composites repair and composite engineering capability of assets belonging to the RMAF by the Defence Ministry for in 2011.

CTRM Group is 96.87 per cent owned by DRB-HICOM Defence Technologies and 3.135 per cent by Petronas. (Bernama)
